Wallace Drive: Increased Construction Vehicle Traffic

Expect reroutes and increased construction vehicle traffic across campus throughout Summer 2026. Wallace Drive will be closed in both directions between Forsyth Blvd and Shepley Drive through June 30.

• Pedestrian sidewalks along Wallace Drive will remain open. 
• Wallace Garage can be accessed from Wydown Boulevard during this closure.

Construction Traffic Impacts: Forsyth Blvd at Wallace Drive

Construction activity near Kelly Baseball Field will affect westbound traffic on Forsyth Blvd between Big Bend and Wallace Drive.

• The southern eastbound lane of Forsyth Blvd will be closed for approximately 2 weeks during the initial construction of the jobsite entrance.
• Expect slow traffic, signage, and construction vehicles in the area.
• All construction truck traffic will enter and exit the site via Big Bend for the duration of the project. Use caution when traveling through this area.

There are no Zone 1 parking impacts at this time.

• SE and SW quadrants of Lot 33 (surface lot along Olympian Way) will be offline from 6 p.m. on 08/11/26 through 7 a.m. on 08/17/26.
• Lot 35 (surface lot south of Simon Hall) will be offline from 6 p.m. on 08/11/26 through 7 a.m. on 08/17/26.

• Level 1 of Snow Way Garage will be offline from 6 p.m. on 08/19/26 through 7 a.m. on 08/24/26.
• Lot 26 (surface lot north of The Village off of Forest Park Parkway) will be offline from 6 p.m. on 08/19/26 through 7 a.m. on 08/24/26.

• Wallace Drive will be closed in both directions between Forsyth Blvd and Shepley Drive through June 30.
  • Wallace Garage can be accessed from Wydown Boulevard during this closure.
  • Pedestrian sidewalks along Wallace Drive will remain open. 
• Shepley Drive will be converted from eastbound to westbound ONLY traffic from 7 a.m. on 08/13/26 through 7 p.m. on 08/16/26. During this period, Shepley Drive will only be accessible from southbound Wallace Drive via Forsyth.
• If you are arriving on campus between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on 08/13 – 08/15, it is strongly advised that you park in Zone 3 (Snow Way and Millbrook Garages) and walk to the SO40 via the pedestrian underpass.
  • If you do not have a valid permit displayed, you will not be allowed entry onto the SO40.
• From 6 p.m. on 08/12/6 through 7 am on 08/16/26, Faculty/Staff Zone 4 permit holders are only permitted to park in Wallace Garage or on the western portion of the roof of Shepley Garage.
• Lot 58 (Church Lot) will be offline from 6 p.m. on 08/11/26 through 7 p.m. on 08/15/26.
