Best Workplaces for Commuters recognized WashU’s Danforth campus for its outstanding commuter benefits that help employees save money, reduce stress, and create positive change in the St. Louis and bi-state areas.

As part of a broader commitment to sustainable mobility, WashU has installed 16 new Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the Danforth Campus, increasing the number of ports to 39 total. This expansion is a response to growing demand among EV drivers while aligning with regional and national trends in vehicle electrification.

Starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, Danforth Campus employees at Washington University in St. Louis can register for a U-Pass as well as purchase a 2025-2026 Danforth Campus parking permit.
